Brick Game Lesson

February 6, 2008 No Comments

bricj connectorsI recall the Brick game which I use to play in my child hood days with my fellow game partners. The logic behind the game is to derive any figure of any size any geometrical shape, illustrates anything. Ultimately derive a “Wow!….Wow!” sound from the fellow game mates.

Actually the child doesn’t employ any logic, doesn’t start with a clear output in Mind. But take each and every move slow and steadily. Dismantles the whole setup multiple times and rearranges again. The end result is Fun.

So much lessons to take out from this Child game.

Do your works with fresh mind. Shape is not matter. Logic is not matter.

  1. How many times you rearrange is not matter. That many times you learnt the way to escape from mistakes is mattes.
  2. Brick game is not a game of strategy not a test of speed or quick thinking. Simplicity best of all.
  3. It is the small pieces that make the structure of your choice. Use the pieces. Decide upon the End result “fun/happiness” first. In-between you need connecter that’s it.
  4. Reusability – Big Big concept in management. Single words made som much difference in modern management techniques
  5. Association – likes get in phase with likes. In management concept keeping related materials together. Outcome makes easy.

And many more ..
